Puget Sound has been released from a frozen white world created by four recent snowstorms one after the other. We cocooned into our home December 15 and did not emerge until December 28 despite the slushy ice and mounds of snow still on our hill. It was a reminder to appreciate stillness, going within, relaxing around the fire and just being here.
